DOSING WITH Tinctures

All about tinctures

Tinctures are made from cannabis plant material that has been soaked in alcohol and strained. What is left behind is an incredible liquid that can easily be ingested orally or sublingually (under the tongue). Due to its ease of consumption and smokeless nature, tinctures are seen as a great entry point for new (and of course experienced) THC and CBD consumers.

TIP 1: Find the right tincture

What you’re looking for will dictate your ratio and dose. For those looking to find relief from physical discomfort or inflammation, a CBD dominant tincture might be the way to go.

If you experience a lot of stress or have a hard time sleeping at night, a tincture that is THC dominant might be the answer.

TIP 2: Use the 3-week guide

Week 1: A little goes a long way. For your first week, a good rule of thumb is to start with the most basic dose of 0.25ml.

Week 2: This week is about consistency. If you aren’t getting enough results, now is the time to increase your dosage. Remember that it is okay to raise or lower your dose depending on your experience.

Week 3: This is the week to practice patience. When dosing with THC and CBD it is important to stay attuned to your body and what you are feeling per dose. Keep tabs on your experience. This will give you a baseline to work with in the future.
